I have an extensive background in the Information Technology marketplace with experience designing, integrating, and implementing custom software and hardware solutions utilizing different project management methodologies with a heavy focus on DevOps practices and deploying infrastructure as code. I am fluent in a number of different cloud technologies focusing on security, performance, scalability, and reliability. Those, however, are just the tools I use. I really enjoy looking beyond technical architecture and working closely with cross functional teams to look the core business problems impacting organizations. Continuous integration, delivery, testing, and compliance are core system attributes to any well built solution, but without proper application to business problems those attributes provide limited business value.Recent projects have included designing and deploying serverless applications to build out an Athlete Management Platform, architecting a cloud based home automation platform, designing and implementing an ephemeral AWS hosting environment to support Docker containers generated through a continuous integration and deployment pipeline. Primary duties have included application development, direct customer support, 24/7/365 management and support of servers in Cloud environments nationwide, network integration, systems architecture, and implementation.
