I developed the first ever special sections for Valentine’s Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, two Home Improvement sections in the Spring and Fall and two Holiday Gift Guides. The new sections included a cover, table of contents and relevant content and photo's to capture and engage readers. I coordinated all aspects of special sections and their deliverables between advertising, creative services and accounting departments. In addition to special sections I Developed rate packages with promotional pricing to be used to obtain new advertisers or incremental revenue from existing advertisers. I integrated digital marketing products into special sections and promotional pricing packages when it made sense based on the section and distribution quantity. I also used Sales Touch CRM and other databases to generate prospect reports for sales team. I was appointed the KC Star's McClatchy MCDC Champion based on my extensive experience with data analysis and segmentation to produce market analysis reports using customer sales data. The client data was appended with consumer data from Nielsen using Prizm NE and exposed marketing opportunities that would lead to new customer acquisition or improve customer loyalty. The MCDC program was responsible for $80,000+ in new and incremental revenue during Jan-Mar of 2015. -

Business Resources Manager / Printing CoordinatorSprint Jul 1998 - Jan 2002Overland Park, Kansas, UsI was extremely lucky to work with a group of communication professionals including Debbie Claybaker in the Sprint Forms Management, Graphic and Print Department where I worked closely with internal departments to develop and implement a number of online ordering tools to be utilized by associates. In 2000 we developed and launched "Stat Wizard", a homegrown intranet ordering tool that allowed all 80,000+ Sprint associates to place orders via the intranet for items such as business cards, letterhead, envelopes and note cards. The tool allowed associates the ability to view proofs online prior to submitting their orders which dramatically reduced errors and re-prints. In 2001 we launched "SMARTworks" which was an tool developed by one of our partners which allowed Sprint associates to place order for office forms via the companies intranet. Most listings on the site included images that could be viewed to ensure the proper form was being ordered. In allot of cases forms could be immediately downloaded for use.
