Work closely with the Plant Manager and General Manager to maximize efficiencies of plant operations while optimizing plant run time. Troubleshoot and identify process needs to maintain production levels and ensure compliance of environmental and health & safety needs of Team Members.- Manage plant processes, troubleshoot equipment and process upsets, analyze data, and drive process improvement using several technologies, including a Distributed Control System- Implement new technologies while coordinating the efforts of a multi-disciplined team and contractors- Effectively communicate plant improvements through written Management of Change documents and verbal training in both one-on-one and group settings- Lead the environmental, health, and safety of the biorefinery with one direct report- Create and submit official reports to the EPA according to air and water permits, including renewals and modification requests- Develop user-friendly tools using a combination of Process Information, Microsoft Excel, and basic programming logic- Advance team member involvement in plant improvements through monthly meetings with the purpose of fostering ownership of solutions developed from a team environment, and oversee their implementation

Worked closely with Replex's senior engineer and president to design and develop a new solar concentrator and testing system. Researched possible design forms as well as designed new forms based on desired light concentration characteristics. Designed and assembled the testing apparatus to evaluate efforts.

Continually sought process improvement which required creativity and traceable organization. Researched new equipment for improved operations and negotiated with vendor.

Designed and developed a new, reusable shipping container for specialzed parts that focused on further improving operations. Directed preparations for Federal Aviation Administration audit. This included reviewing and revamping technical process documentation for accuracy and ensuring up-to-specification workstations.
