To help build trust, credibility, and nearness to the Business, we wanted them to trust us with their most critical and senior-level hires instead of giving them away to a Retained Search Firm. We felt we would bring passion and the correct narrative and therefore attract Exec Talent that would, under normal conditions, not consider a move. That was the theory! The business did trust us, with all of their Purple Squirrels. They are seriously tough to find and even more challenging to select. To deliver on this, we need someone who understands the core of the search, the persona that would thrive in a legacy environment. Ability to manage up and down and deliver results (financial and people) immediately. BOOM! Enter Eric Gilson. What he delivered, helped me set up a specialist Sourcing Hub under his leadership so that our most challenging Exec and Management level search landed with him. He re-imagined intake calls, taking them away from mundane monologues to a conversation & story-telling style approach which became his basis for Candidate Engagement. The quality and conversion ratio Eric was bringing to the team helped us become a force with Talent Acquisition stepping in to fill in niche Leadership Gaps through external search. Eric helped us become a Talent Intelligence hub lending invaluable insights and data to our Executives, Leadership, Internal Compensation Team and the HRBP org. Eric is a no-brainer on any Talent Team that is looking to change the way they think about search. BOOM!
