California Recreational Fisheries Survey sampler working in Marine region in San Diego, Orange, and Los Angeles counties. The goal of CRFS is to acquire fishing effort and basic biologic data on recreational boat and shore-based marine fisheries used for management of fisheries. Interview recreational anglers to observe and measure finfish catch and acquire fishing effort data. Expert at identifying California finfish caught by anglers, as well as many common invertebrates, and techniques for measuring and collecting biological data.
