Reporting to the CEO my role was responsible for the engagement and development of new partnerships, maintaining the strategic relationships with our existing partners and the implementation of large scale Apprenticeship, Employment and Learning Programmes across the UK. EQL run large programmes with several high profile partners which include Barclays, MBNA, DHL, Pearson, CareTech and Assurant Solutions.

Reporting to the Operations Director this role was accountable for managing the Phones4u Training strategy, the investment of its training budget and the effective deployment of a centralised training team of 30.The most notable achievement during my time at Phones4u was the creation and implementation of the "state of the art" Training Academy at Fort Dunlop in Birmingham, which was widely regarded as the standard for learning excellence within the industry. Learning at Phones4u developed several, high profile strategic relationships with key partners such as BlackBerry, Nokia, Samsung, Sony and Vodafone. This saw L&D become a key part of the commercial offering at Phones4u and enabled us to create some truly outstanding, cutting edge learning with our business partners.

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role was responsible for implementing a seamless approach to our new people. From attraction and selection, right through to the induction, on boarding and embedding of our new people. This role built from scratch a new recruitment team of 14 to deliver a positive engagement experience for all new candidates.

Reporting to the Operations Director this role was responsible for a team of 6 trainers who designed and delivered the training for all operationally focused projects.The highlight of this role was the turnaround of a failing project that once implemented delivered tangible improvements of £20 million pounds in the first year through improved compliance via behavioural training.

Reporting to the HR Director. This was a change management role focused on implementing a positive people management approach across the business during a complex restructure and change process.

Highlights at Sky included:Project managing the implementation and delivery of a behavioural cultural change program to all staff.Designing and implemented a training needs analysis of which the resulting programme delivered savings of over £7 millionManagement Development Training design and delivery to a population of Field Sales Managers, Operations Managers and Call Centre Managers

Upon leaving school I pursued a career as a Golf Professional, working and playing in Europe, Asia and Africa.
