I create Data Products utilized by all areas of the bank. I continually work in partnership with our Data Sourcing and Data Integrity teams to ensure that our Data Products report accurate metrics and meet Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance standards. I write SQL queries against Snowflake Data Cloud and Microsoft SQL servers and create reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects and IBM Cognos Analytics. I also guide a team of offshore consultants in their development efforts and act as a liaison between these developers and our business teams for requirements gathering and design.Recently, I led a team of 13 report developers through a report rationalization project related to our core system conversion. Starting with a population of 1,200 reports, I met with multiple business teams to discuss the purpose of these items and whether they were still being used, ultimately eliminating 600 legacy items. The remaining items were prioritized based on SOX requirements, business needs, and team capacity.

I was the administrator of our legacy Microsoft Dynamics CRM application and our Salesforce application. Together with guidance from Executive Management, I created custom dashboards for all roles within the bank to show items requiring attention and key performance indicators at their initial login, saving each user 15 minutes per day. I also implemented a new request system into our CRM application, which allowed for SLA tracking and real-time notes between sales and fulfillment teams. From that system, I was able to develop reports that helped service teams identify staffing trends and needs, which saved team leaders a collective 20 hours per month.

Before our merger with Sterling National Bank, I was both the administrator of our Microsoft Dynamics system and a Business Analyst who wrote reports and performed key banking system changes. I developed a process that automatically refunded fees if accounts met certain criteria, eliminating a report that used to be reviewed manually. I also created an automated script that corrected double posted transactions, which trimmed a 4-hour manual daily process into a 5-minute script.

As a Compliance Analyst, I was responsible for performing testing of the banking system and our branch network to ensure compliance with all banking regulations and guidelines. I helped to design the first version of a streamlined deposit compliance program. I also created an Access database for restraining notices received, replacing a freeform Excel sheet only accessible by a single user at a time with a system that allowed multiple users to log items simultaneously and validated that all inputs were correct before saving.

As a processor, my normal tasks included processing mail transactions and branch corrections, along with opening IRA and Guardianship accounts. I wrote several VBA scripts in Excel that were able to determine the appropriate action needed for certain transactions with 85% confidence, condensing an 8-hour data entry task into a 1-hour review. I also streamlined the balancing of the annual abandoned property ledger, which reduced the verification time from 3 days to 6 hours.
