I was born in Louisiana and grew up between the south and the Midwest. I graduated college in Illinois (SIUC), before calling Florida home over 15 years ago. I enjoy technology, investing, traveling, and spending time with the amazing people I love most. I crave getting out of my comfort zone to experience different cultures, people, and their cuisines, especially with the Caribbean being right in my backyard. I like DIY projects (my wife says I’m handy). I'm a generous tipper. I’m passionate about giving back and aspire to be worthy of the title Philanthropist, some day. I geek out on the economy and audiobooks about personal/professional development. I’ve charted the waters of a diverse career path, leading public relations and marketing communications campaigns for many brands at a variety of companies, charities, and agencies… including my own. I’ve helped sell products, services, software, franchises, businesses, events, artwork, people, causes, engines, and entertainment, promoting more than 60 brands across 50+ industries. From all of this, I've learned that it’s not about the work, but the people that make a job so great. (Although, I’d be lying if I said I haven’t developed an affinity for CPG brands.)And I love my job! Mostly because of the awesome people I work with and the purpose-driven, cause-oriented, people-focused culture where I work. That place is Clorox. There, I lead consumer communications strategy and data insights for three brands in its Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements division. In my off time… well… I used to have hobbies, but those went out the door when I became a parent. Being a Dad is the greatest job ever! When I’m not developing amazing human beings, I enjoy inspiring their palates with my wicked grilling and smoking skills (I make a mean brisket). If any of this sounds interesting, drop me a line.
