Since 2021, I have led teams focused on reducing fraudulent employer activity in the Indeed marketplace. In one year, I helped grow this organization from 4 engineers on a single team to 3 teams totaling 15 engineers and three additional managers. We have reduced fraudulent contact with job seekers by over 50% while having minimal impact on revenue and good jobs posted by real employers. I also led efforts to integrate ML models to achieve real-time analysis of messages between employers and job seekers to identify fraudulent behaviors.

From 2017-2021 I was the manager for the Lead Generation team at Indeed. This involved a close partnership with Data Science teams to provide infrastructure to train, validate, and support ML models used to discover valuable client relationships for sales teams.

I was originally hired to grow the team, but as a result of acquisition by News Corp the TigerLead brand was downsized and ultimately sold to Commissions, Inc. While at TigerLead, I was the head of the software engineering organization that owned development of all software supporting the TigerLead line of business. This included branded local real estate search sites and CRM for our clients, as well as accounting and customer service tools used by TIgerLead employees. As part of the downsizing I was responsible for planning and executing the migration of our systems from traditional data centers to AWS. After the acquisition by Commissions, Inc. I led efforts to migrate existing TigerLead customers to the Commissions, Inc. platform and exceeded all customer retention goals.

Lead an organization of 25-30 split into multiple development teams with job functions including Software Engineering Managers, UX designers, software engineers, application support techs, QA. Responsible for overseeing the full development cycle and production support for all in-house developed applications. This includes maintenance for our legacy Propval system that has been the primary system for all business operations, and the ground up development of Valuation Management System (VMS).Lead architecture and design team responsible for steering system design and development best practices across all platforms. Establish guidelines for software quality that include systematic code reviews, automated testing, and automated deployment.Work directly with executive team to develop resource allocation plans during the creation of company-wide strategic initiatives. Lead effort to change development process from traditional waterfall to agile/scrum allowing us to better respond changing business needs and market opportunities.
