My job is to open and maintain transparent lines of communication between the community, state legislators, and the media. I oversee Public Affairs, Legislative and Government Relations, as well as Constituent and Victim Services for the Department.

- Manage the operations of 500,000+ square feet of commercial office space- Manage the operations of 500,000+ square feet of retail space- Manage the operations of 100,000+ square feet of industrial space- Generate and maintain property income and expenditure budgets- Prepare lease abstracts and tenant lease files- Work on acquisitions of new properties.

Build and maintain relationships with constituents in Albuquerque. This included communicating status of City projects, and being a liaison between the community and the Mayor's Office.

- Developed and implemented City-wide communication program for department directors- Develop talking points for the Mayor- Worked on creating content for social media, including video and photography- Draft press releases and manage press events with communications team - Summarize and interpret legislation

Worked as a substitute teacher at various schools throughout the city. Worked with Special Education students at different schools. Created lesson plans for students, and guided them through their work.

Worked as a video producer during my last semester at the University of New Mexico for various sports teams, primarily the football team. Duties included documenting practice, and specifically game day highlights.

The Social Media Workgroup is an interdisciplinary art science and engineering educational research laboratory that utilizes STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art + Mathematics) projects using mobile media, software and other technologies to research social and ecological impacts of technology. I worked as one of their multimedia specialists.
