As Head of Security for the United Nations (UN) and in my experience as UN liaison to NATO on security matters in Northern Kosovo, I lived and worked in EMEA, APAC, and CIS+ Nations, where I leveraged my cultural agility and government relations expertise to direct global investigations, led Crisis Management Groups, and managed international incidents. I am internationally recognized as an expert in government relations with a specialty in Russian culture and the communication and conflict resolution methods of the Caucus region of the Russian Federation. In this region, I liaised with the Federal Security Service (FSB) and Russian Military Leadership on behalf of all United Nations Agencies, the World Bank, the US-AID, Save the Children, and the Embassy of the United States. I received the Medal of Freedom from the government of Colombia for my actions against illicit trade and collaboration with the government which led to the arrest of high-ranking members of a major organized crime group. I led high-risk rescue operations for diplomats in dangerous parts of Europe and trained the Armed Forces of NATO on executive protection protocols. I led a yearlong investigation into a terrorist attack on the United Nations in eastern Europe which led to the arrest and prosecution of members of the group. That investigation involved building relationships and working together with government authorities of the Russian Federation, The Republic of Georgia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Germany, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Sweden, and UN Leadership at the Secretary-General and Security Counsel Level.
