Director of Management Systems with the responsibilities reaching beyond the IT realm into resource management, policy & procedure authoring, workflow management and document integrity and control. Primary duties include overseeing a staff responsible for keeping a small enterprise network operating at peak efficiency to maintain uptime and speed in an ISO-compliant engineering environment. Network is comprised of on-premises VMWare infrastructure as well a Azure-based VMs controlling redundancy and off-site backup's using VEEAM.Management Systems is comprised of Information Technology, Human Resources, Contracts and Accounting. Direct management of managers in those departments and plan short and long term initiatives, including goal setting, OKRs, budgets and internal/external feedback.Recently the company became ISO 9001:2015 certified based on work done over the last 5+ years documenting processes, procedures, work instructions and forms. Working with the Quality Manager we passed Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits for ISO with no NCRs.Fluent in ERP (Sage 100 and Acumatica), CRM (ACT!, Salesforce and Acumatica), Document Control (Synergis Adept), 3D CAD (SolidWorks).Network comprised of Ubiquiti & HP network technology, DELL servers and running VMWARE virtual infrastructure with fully automated backup solution using VEEAM. Converted all physical servers into virtual severs with six months of testing and implementation in a lab environment before roll-out. Physical to Virtual migrations of all existing servers and load balancing and High Availability of existing plus newly deployed units. Full DR plan with Azure replication of entire environment.Extensive experience with document control procedures and implementation utilizing Synergis Software's Adept EDM Application. Process workflow improvements. lean ideas and ISO compliant system were all top priorities in the implementation of this EDM solution. Process evaluation, value stream mapping and recommended improvements are conducted weekly to increase automation in documentation and efficiency. Recently, in final stages of complete switch over to Acumatica, bringing in three disparate systems together for better visibility, ease of use, ROI and business intelligence using Crystal Reports.Always interested in emerging technology and working in new and innovative ways that incorporates IT ideas into current and future business processes to ultimately increase profit margins and ROI of new technology.
