I am a lifelong learner and teacher. I created the Healthy Organizations model after years of frustration with organizational shortcomings. Drawing on my experience in public, private, and nonprofit organizations, I realized that organizational health is a vital component of success and that health must be pervasive throughout the organization, not just at the highest levels.In a volunteer capacity, I served as the primary fundraiser for The Citadel's Class of 2002 for over 15 years. I led the class through one successful reunion campaign, two reunion events, the funding of a scholarship, and was recognized with the Gold Star Award and The Chairman's Club award for my fundraising success.In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my wife and have completed 4 Ironman triathlons, numerous ultramarathons, and long-distance swimming and biking events.
