Outcast Media Holdings, Inc. was a digital media company reaching active, on-the-go consumers. Outcast was acquired by Gilbarco Veeder-Root in early 2014 and then by VeriFone, Inc. in August 2015. Outcast's digital Fuel Network reached 38 million viewers monthly at gas stations nationwide with 21,500 hi-def screens.• Working with sales and operations teams, defined the requirements for a new media management software suite to replace 5 existing systems for increased operational efficiencies and delivery of new products.• Managed engineering team in an agile development environment, including creation of user stories, backlog grooming and sprint planning. Tools include Jira and Confluence.• Integrated the Smart Targeting solution into GVR’s product line for pinpoint targeting of ‘on-the-go’ consumers as they fueled their vehicles.• Responsible for all aspects of technology and engineering for Outcast, an industry leading out-of-home digital media company with 38 MM monthly viewers and 21,000 high definition digital screens nationwide.• Designed and implemented infrastructure and software changes at Outcast, resulting in 50% OPEX reduction• Designed, developed and implemented the Outcast Smart Targeting product (1 patent awarded, 1 patent pending) with a sales potential of $10 MM per year (50% increase).• Implemented new system capabilities for increased product offering and sales, including integration of Vistar and rVue ad server and exchange platforms

Directed the software development for the Chicago-Metra Mobile Information Terminal, an on-train custom embedded system for automated announcements and wireless tracking of commuter trains. Programmed in Cosmic C and a custom BASIC-style language.
