Eric E. Heinemann is a Managing Director of Deloitte Tax LLP in the financial service practice. Eric has broad based financial service experience leading a variety of tax projects, including large tax compliance (corporate and partnership), tax provision (in both the audit and preparer functions) and transactional support.Eric leads engagement teams in the preparation of Federal and state corporate and partnership returns for asset managers, broker-dealers, specialists, hedge funds, private equity and other financial service clients.Eric has significant experience in the audit of tax provision calculations under ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109) including 10-Q and 10-K filings, review of footnote disclosures for financial statements, APB 23 and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48).Eric has instructed at National and local training courses on topics including ASC 740, corporate taxation and IFRS.Eric is a CPA with licenses in New Jersey and New York.Eric is a board member of Hope Autism Foundation whose mission is to create and support vocational and recreational programs for adults on the autism spectrum and also for St. Philip the Apostle Foundation which provides financial assistance to the Salesian community.
