Serving as the Volunteer Treasurer for the Neighborhood Association, my role goes beyond just managing financial records. I have had the opportunity to engage in our community's affairs, contribute towards building a better environment, and furthering the association's mission.My core responsibilities include managing and monitoring the association's financial resources. I handle the preparation of annual budgets, track income and expenditure, and present financial reports to the association's board during regular meetings. This requires not only a strong understanding of financial management but also an ability to translate complex financial information into understandable terms for our members.I am also responsible for ensuring we meet legal and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and record-keeping. I worked in a variety of aspects of risk management and security while at Best Buy. My most immediate concerns were on the levels of shrink (the loss of inventory that can be attributed to factors such as employee theft, shoplifting, administrative error, vendor fraud, damage, and cashier error) throughout the store. While I worked there, I was recognized for exceptional work in the asset protection department, largely for low levels of shrink and theft under my watch. I also monitored and kept logs in the warehouse of the store to ensure that no product was lost in transit or stolen by employees. I would conduct weekly audits of items and prices in the store to keep everything as updated as possible. I was responsible for informing and educating all staff on site, of the shrink and theft updates and any issues of concern.

I was in charge of running and facilitating large events and operations on campus for the Residence Hall Association (RHA). These were the dorms were students would be housed. We worked to have events and fundraisers all throughout the school year, from orientation events to graduation celebrations. I was tasked with facilitating meetings and running a committee to discuss future ideas and events that we could plan.
