Eric Herd is an accomplished sports business, entertainment, and media executive. He is currently Founder and CEO of A2Z Ventures, a consultancy and venture development firm focused on sports, betting, media, branded content and tech. Herd, a Co-Founder of ThePostGame in 2008, helped build, scale and operate the company for 15 years rising from Sales leadership roles to President and CEO of the organization. A provocatively unique thinker and skilled executor, Herd has developed and brokered game-changing partnerships for many of the most forward thinking and influential sports properties, brands, media and tech companies. He has been recognized by his peers, colleagues and partners as an authentic, charismatic, passionate leader. Well respected as a builder and creative thought leader with a reputation of exceeding expectations for partners. Prior to ThePostGame, Eric was the one of the youngest ever individuals to be hired as an agent at Hollywood-based talent agency ICM. Fresh out of college, he was one of the first hires at Red Zebra Broadcasting, the Washington Commander’s pioneering media company. Eric is an active investor and advisor for sports, entertainment, media, digital, technology, and sports betting businesses. Eric is a graduate of the Sports Business Program at The George Washington University.
