Hardware design- Designed a monochromator setup for characterization of hyperspectral sensors from 400 nm up to 2.000 nm- Adapted a commercial minituarized camera to enable sensor characterization in batches and increased daily productivity x2- Designed a compact camera validation system with optimal light uniformity- Designed hardware to enable alignment of sensors in cameras- Defined harmonization and modularity principles for hardware scalabilitySoftware and algorithms design- Designed software to detect particles and defects in sensors- Designed algorithms to align hyperspectral sensors in cameras- Designed robust autoexposure algorithms for hyperspectral cameras- Designed base algorithms for the objective comparison of a measured spectra with a golden referenceIntegrated imagers laboratory responsible- Introduced 6S organization obtaining a cleaner, safer and more professional laboratory- Improved data storage and traceability eliminating redundant testing- Managed a team of 2 interns (1 for lab production + 1 for software development)- Introduced good documentation practices leading to less operational errors- Introduced modular flows that solved the problem of error propagation into different operations
