Coordinates and contributes to the USAWC’s official review and response to Army, Joint, Multi-Service, and Allied publications related to doctrine and future concepts. Assists the USAWC academic faculty with the integration of relevant strategic-level current concepts and doctrine into course curriculum. Contributes to individual faculty development with emerging concepts and doctrine updates. Provides joint doctrine review and technical support to the USAWC Joint Education Accreditation certification. Closely coordinates with the Joint staff, Department of the Army staff, the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, U.S. Army centers and branch schools, and other services as required.

Served as Joint Operational Plans Officer and Operational Planning Team Leader for Commander, US Second Fleet. Responsible for coordinating and developing all plans in support of United States Fleet Forces Command, USNORTHCOM, and USSOUTHCOM when designated as JFMCC or Joint Task Force. Lead planner for Defense Support of Civil Authorities, Humanitarian Assistance, Disaster Relief Operations, and Ground Maneuver.

Responsible for the leadership, mentoring, and development of 20+ Infantry Captains Career Course students. Trains junior Captains and Senior LTs to command company teams and to serve as battalion primary staff officers and brigade assistant staff officers. Plans, prepares, and executes 540 hours of doctrinal and tactics instruction to include Army operations, battle-focused training, military decision making process, intelligence prep of the battlefield, and physical fitness training. Serves as the faculty advisor to 75 US Army and USMC officers and 8 international military officers annually.

Responsible for the health, welfare, training, and combat readiness of a company composed of 121 US and Korean Soldiers. Ensured accountability and maintenance of all MTOE and TDA equipment valued in excess of $40M. Managed a 98% turnover rate of personnel within one year. Trained the company to be ready to transition to war with no notice and successfully win in sustained combat operations.

Future Operations Planner for Combined Joint Task Force 7 and Multi-National Corps Iraq. Developed plans in support of combined and joint combat and stability operations on a 3 star level staff in a combat theater that were often briefed to the Secretary of Defense. Areas of emphasis Security coordination of Iraqi Interim Gov't officials, ground combat ops in Fallujah, Najaf, security of Iraqi National elections.
