I have been hired on contract as an IBM I Admin/Engineer. RCIS was sold from Wells Fargo to Zurich Insurance. Zurich Insurance is a world-wide company with 55,000 employees. RCIS sells crop insurance in all 50 states in the USA. the RCIS company runs custom built software and has 200+ employees in their IT department.

-Maintained 40+ independent IBM servers located at individual manufacturing locations across the US.-Developed strong relationships by supporting and training IT representatives and customers at each manufacturing site.-Created custom training materials and job aids ensuring on site system users were successful.-Analyzed, planned, scheduled and performed numerous new installations, server upgrades, OS upgrades.-Collaborated internal business partner s to consolidate 40+ IBM servers onto 2 IBM i servers at individual co-locations in the Twin Cities, utilizing Mimix replication for H.A.-Maintained IBM Fix Management.-Monitored & managed systems performance.-Worked with the application team to analyze and monitor critical application performance.-Managed Backup & Recovery services.-Facilitated and communicated the department's change control meetings.-Assisted the Oracle CNC team with administration tasks.
