Customer Application Engineer
CurrentActing as the technical face of Daktronics throughout the customer lifecycle from influencing the customer early in the sales process to supporting them through integration and acceptance.• Help win orders by working with the sales teams to identify and promote product solutions. • Review customer requirements, working directly with customers to understand their needs. • Influence customer specifications to align with Daktronics capabilities. • Determine potential product solutions to meet customer needs. • Collaborate with the sales teams to evaluate various solution options and determine the best options that fit the needs of both customers and Daktronics. • Develop product solution concepts and documentation as needed for tender responses and other customer submittals with an appropriate level of detail. • Liaise between customers and design and manufacturing teams to resolve any technical questions or challenges that arise during fulfilment. • Provide technical support during project fulfilment, operation, and support. • Support project managers by supporting any technical interactions with the customer. • Perform design reviews with customers, including compliance checklists, first article units, and other detailed design documentation.• Identify and share observed market trends that may influence future product development activities. • Support product owners and product managers by bringing customer perspectives to product development definition, planning, and prioritization activities.
