Sr Manager, It Operations
CurrentResponsible for the daily operations, performance and security of Shure’s infrastructure services, including data centers, public cloud, SaaS, servers, networks, storage, endpoint, mobile devices, backup and recovery.• Manages and develops a global team of system administrators to support IT infrastructure services.• Ensures proper management, maintenance, provisioning and monitoring of all production environments.• Continuously improves infrastructure performance across all data centers and services.• Manages change initiatives in a systematic manner to ensure systems availability, performance and reliability.• Leads Global IT Infrastructure Change Management and Problem Management teams.• Identifies and evaluates alternate technical solutions, provides recommendations for the use of new and existing technologies.• Manages internal infrastructure projects that require cross-department resources and coordination.• Assists with selection of appropriate third-party vendors based on established qualifications and manages partner resources and their deliverables.• Negotiates and writes proposals and statements of work for initiatives requiring vendor assistance.• Manages infrastructure hardware and software purchases.
