About Eric Horner

I am proud to join the team at the Grand Canyon Trust, working tirelessly to safeguard the wonders of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, while supporting the rights of its Native peoples since 1985. We envision a region where wildness in the diversity of plants & animals, clean air and flowing waters abound; where sovereign tribal nations thrive; where a livable climate endures; and people passionately work together to conserve the Southwest's deserts, mountains and canyons for future generations.Since founding Echo Fundraising in 2011, I have been leading the consulting services for foundations, family offices, and non-profits that want to improve their philanthropic impact in the areas of community empowerment, climate action, higher education, healthcare and board leadership. I have over 20 years of experience in building new programs, major gift strategy, high-tech research, venture investments, and moves management, working with offices in Colorado and Chicago.I am passionate about empowering mission-driven organizations to achieve their goals and make a positive difference in the world. I have a proven track record of exceeding campaign targets, coordinating with executive leaders, cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders, and leveraging my expertise in marketing communications, social networking, and project development. I am also a proud husband, father, and Northwestern alumnus with a background in religion, classics, and theology.
