Responsible for growth of Epic CleanTec's onsite resource recovery technology and services. Focused on creating value through Epic's turnkey project delivery platform.

Accountable for leading business development and project delivery for onsite water treatment and reuse systems within the Western region. Tasked to provide Design/Build and Operations (DBO) client relations support for existing clients to grow the Western DBO bases while also assessing and developing Ownership (Water Purchase Agreement – WPA) opportunities. Clients include blue-chip corporations, tech campuses, universities, institutions, urban developments, and rural communities in California and the west. Applications range from in-building, onsite systems for LEED certified buildings or Eco-Districts in high-density urban areas to distributed Water Reclamation Faciltiies for remote communities.Technologies applied include Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), MBBR, natural treatment systems (e.g. wetlands), completely mixed activated sludge (CMAS), Sequencing Batch Reactors biological nutrient removal (BNR), Aerobic Treatment Units, UV Disinfection, Ozone, and Reverse Osmosis.

Accountable for the success of the company's portfolio of decentralized wastewater treatment and water reuse projects, including product development, engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and operations and maintenance. Projects were highly technical, focusing on the development of anaerobic digesters, membrane bioreactors (MBR), solids handling and dewatering systems, and reverse osmosis wastewater treatment systems. As director of company's field operations, responsibilities required the development and management of a team of wastewater treatment plant operators who successfully administer the company's water energy purchase agreements (WEPA) and operations contracts. Responsibilities also included the construction, maintenance, and operation of a proprietary inoculum generation facility which was used to culture microorganisms used in the wastewater treatment process.Project management responsibilities included administering full project life-cycle contract and subcontract management, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing processes and activities. Worked with project sponsor and executive teams to prepare project charters which accurately and concisely detailed the project statement of work (SOW), summary budget and schedule, key stakeholders, and high-level business objectives. Used expert judgment and facilitation techniques to create realistic project management plans which were used to execute, monitor and control project work. Developed project performance baselines for scope, cost, and schedule which allowed for accurate and timely reports regarding status and forecast. Addressed cross-functional issue & risk identification, documentation, and mitigation planning, which resulted in corrective and preventative action plans to ensure alignment with project objectives. Total value of all open projects and contracts under my direct management is approx. $9M.

Developed and lead several cross functional teams to successfully complete high priority projects. Managed the engineering, manufacturing, and construction of multiple water reuse projects. Served as NPI manager for lean manufacturing implementation of new products.

Lead Field Engineer in commissioning and coordination of 40+ international water, wastewater, and water reuse installations. Other duties included instrumentation and controls engineering, developing sequences of operations and PLC controls for industrial equipment. Leader of International Technical Service and Field Engineering team.

Designing, managing, and commissioning reverse osmosis and ultraviolet disinfection projects. Developed process and instrumentation diagrams in AutoCAD for various industrial and municipal water recovery and remediation projects. Produced and managed specifications, bills of materials, and other project documentation. • Designed 50+ reverse osmosis projects.• Strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls, and Mechanical Engineering, piping systems, and pump station design. • Managed the development and testing of proprietary controller software for UV Systems.• Detail oriented work consisted of project scheduling, submittal preparation, equipment procurement and inventory control.• Prepared operations and maintenance manuals.
