Worked with the Information Systems team to help shift the company towards becoming a more data-driven organization. Contributed to BI Department initiatives through development of reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS. In this role, I focus on delivering value to the business through Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics. I focus on the quality of the firm's data, where the data resides, and how it is leveraged. Part of my role is creating and maintaining the firm's data warehouse. Access to information and insights is being delivered to end users via PowerBI and Sharepoint. Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, help desk staff, and ongoing projects to ensure maximum reliability and uptime of all of the firm's technology resources. Work with vendors, suppliers, and providers to right-size service levels. Work with department managers to ensure technology needs are being met while ensuring compliance with usage and security policies. Ensure a quality end-user experience through optimal configuration of hardware and software and ongoing end user training initiatives. Provide support for all applications of technology including in-depth report generation and data analysis for management, video conferencing, remote support, and building and maintaining a self service technology help wiki. Responsible for all firm wide technology resources including VOIP system, user workstations, servers, virtual machines, VPN, printers/scanners, SaaS, specialized workflow and due date tracking applications (XCM), CCH Prosystems fx Engagement, CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Prosystems fx foundation, Office 365, secure portal, electronic signature system, specialized knowledge and research libraries and much more. Create new ways to accomplish mission critical tasks such as online forms, databases, third party solutions and the reinvention and streamlining of existing processes. Design and implement the appropriate application of automation whenever possible to further streamline efficiency and elimination of time wasting, tedious and repetitive tasks. Contribute to firm wide decision making processes though collection and analysis of firm data, assistance in compilation of various reports. Perform cost/benefit, total cost of ownership, and needs analysis on a regular basis and when considering changes. Create a plan for the implementation of technology initiatives and directives and manage all technology projects to ensure adherence to the established plan and budget.

Perform help desk duties assisting end users with technical problems. Assist CIO with the management of the firm's technology resources and also work to maximize utilization of those resources and work to maximize cost efficiency by eliminating rarely used and costly applications. Work directly with CIO to identify opportunities to realize cost savings, eliminate waste, and take action to rebuild and redesign the network infrastructure and configuration. Together we worked to Reduce the virtual server count from 58 to 19 and reduced the application load from over 75 to around 50. This resulted in significant cost savings by eliminating costly infrastructure, licensing, and administration and resulted in allowing the opportunity to substantially increase the level of service being provided in all aspects. In charge of rolling out and administering new technology solutions and manage various programs and resources such as workflow management, electronic document delivery and electronic signatures. Provide support for mission critical programs and resources such as tax software, electronic filing, virtual desktops, and highly integrated accounting systems and firm management databases. Worked to simplify and streamline last-mile processes for the production of deliverables. Involved in various cross-departmental projects involving advancing the capabilities of the firm through better use of technology as well as eliminating redundant processes. Utilize extensive tax department experience to bring a fresh perspective to production, processes, accounting, and IT to allow for greater adoption of new systems and processes, a smoother workflow, and worked to bridge the gap between these distinct areas to create a better overall experience, better interaction between the firm and clients, and an overall improved end user experience.
