I’m the tech nerd with public speaking skills.Recent years have seen a change in the industry where my responsibilities have turned inward - focusing on our internal systems and processes. Currently responsible for managing and maintaining 45 desktop systems, multiple Windows and Linux servers, VMWare and Hyper-V servers, Cisco Meraki VPN systems, WAN connectivity, MS SQL and Filemaker Database servers, email, DNS, and other internal and external systems.

Grew a specialty coffee roasting business in the western suburbs of Chicago from nothing to a quarter million in annual sales. Focused on retail as well as wholesale growth through online sales, subscriptions, cafes, restaurants and offices. I personally developed a well-received series of wholesale coffee training class and regularly taught coffee brewing classes that were a key element of our company’s core marketing. Started small, made lots of mistakes, grew, learned and thrived in an extremely competitive market.

Developed and led a team of musicians and technical personnel. Planned Sunday services, led rehearsals and was the front-facing leader for all weekend services. Arranged and orchestrated for a small orchestral group, lead worship bands, implemented new technical tools including presentation software, sound equipment and more. In addition to musical responsibilities, led several small groups and was responsible for starting a Financial Peace University class at the church.

Implemented and maintained wide area network and local area network for a top printer in the Chicago area. Responsible for all WAN connections including private T1 and internet connections. Implemented new standards based email system from a proprietary, legacy system to a standards based system. Responsible for all network operations, desktop systems, servers and proprietary systems.
