The Poughkeepsie Children's Cabinet (PCC) is a collective impact organization that was formed in February 2020 to develop a citywide cradle-to-career agenda for children, youth and families in the City of Poughkeepsie, New York. The PCC was established to create and catalyze citywide systems of support that ensure all children, youth, and families thrive across all aspects of their lives. By bringing together an entire community of leaders and institutions across sectors, we strive to address Poughkeepsie's pervasive intergenerational challenges of poverty and educational inequities. Together, we will reimagine how decisions that impact children, youth, and families are made.​

Us

Responsible for championing academic and nonacademic supports for Buffalo Public Schools students, ensuring that all children receive the support needed to graduate from high school prepared for college and career. Also responsible for teacher and administrator professional development and capacity building, the operation and functions of the Buffalo Public Schools’ Student Support Services division, which includes Student Support Services, Guidance and Counseling, Student Placement, Health Related Services, and Family and Community Engagement. Reports to and serves as a strategic thought partner to the Superintendent of Schools.
