I attended the University of Cincinnati graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor in Construction Management, an Associate in Architecture, and an Associate in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduating, I began my career with Lend Lease in Charlotte, NC. After seven years of employment, I moved on to BE&K Building Group staying with them for eight years until I moved on to AM King until starting with my current employer, Rodgers Builders in November 2015. I have held primary responsibility for all activities in the design, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases of every project. I was named “Top 20 Under 40” by ENR Magazine for the Southeast Region.I build strong business relationships with my clients and subcontractors and exceed expectations in all aspects of my work. The close crane proximity made erection a tightly coordinated operation.Wake Forest Baptist Health – Brenner Children’s Hospital | $82 Million | Winston-Salem NC | Assistant PM: This 400,000 sf, 12-story vertical expansion to add space for Brenner Children’s Hospital included 99,000 sf of phased renovations to existing surgery. The new building consists of a poured in-place concrete structure enclosed by curtain wall, metal panels and brick and includes an expansion of the existing facility powerhouse and upgraded heating, cooling and electrical service for the entire building. Norfolk Southern Corporation — Roadway Shop Expansion | $10 Million | Charlotte NC | Assistant PM: This 84,000 sf design/build assignment consisted of three new buildings that included a material storage building, heavy repair shop with attached office building, and specialty parts manufacturing building. The heavy repair shop included four railroad lines connected to the main rail system with below-grade maintenance pits, side-by-side 200-ton and 80-ton double trolley overhead bridge cranes, and a two-story office facility. The project also included the construction of a test track/ground storage yard for equipment testing and material storage.
