I have over 20 years of experience in a variety of roles within a maintenance department. My career started out at Rubbermaid repairing injection molding machines and doing the day-to-day tasks required to keep the equipment running smoothly and efficiently. This continued through American Health Packaging where I excelled at repairing pharmaceutical packaging equipment. When I started working for COMTEX I was quickly promoted to lead technician. I was responsible for boilers, air compressors, water softeners, and automated laundry processing equipment. Over the course of 9 years at COMTEX, I was promoted several times until I was managing the entire maintenance department. We built a second plant in 2019 which I was heavily involved with. I was solely responsible for the smooth operation for all aspects of the facility and maintenance for 2 critical plants totaling 175,000 square feet. I kept a budget of $125,000 per month for both facilities, services, parts, and repairs. I was responsible for a team of 24 technicians across both plants and 3 shifts that reported directly to me. When I moved on to KDC/one I was an integral part of transforming an empty 60,000 square foot warehouse into a new and profitable packaging facility.My biggest strengths include being extremely organized and detail oriented. I thrive in a structured environment and work well under pressure and deadlines. I am passionate about producing quality products and improving efficiencies. I have a record of continued process improvement. I have an excellent safety record and take the safety of my staff very seriously. As a manager with my previous experience, from turning the wrenches to project management, I am in the unique situation to understand all aspects of what it takes to run a successful maintenance department.
