Engaged as the interim CFO for a $38M independent subsidiary of a large FTSE 100 British corporation. 3eTI is both a products and services company in the Cyber Physical space with primary customers being US DoD and foreign militaries. My responsibilities included managing the finance, accounting pricing, IT and facilities organizations. Actively supported the business by providing accurate monthly financial statements and reporting. Actively manage cash flows to meet company and corporate objectives including both accounts receivable and accounts payables. Interfaced with DCAA on all compliance matters. Worked with sales and operations to create compliant and compelling pricing in response to customer solicitations.

Provided interim CFO services and project based financial work to a variety of small to mid-sized public and P/E backed companies.The most recent project involved performing M&A financial due diligence on several small government contracting companies. Led the financial due diligence efforts for the buyer company (S-Corp). Worked with target companies and their representatives to create M&A financial required by buyer's bankers to provide financing for the acquisition. Led financial discussions with bankers. Assisted with deal structure. At present one company has been acquired using a 338H election..

Assumed the lead finance role and transformed the Federal business segment, a $200M subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, providing business process services to Federal civilian and DoD clients, enabling pursuit of new opportunities and compliance with Federal regulations.• Provided business analysis, financial modeling and reporting, budgeting, strategic pricing, A/R management, compliance and M&A due diligence services to the executive team.• Grew the sales pipeline by over $250M and secured contract awards totaling more than $600M by collaboratively working with the operations and business development teams. • Increased the profitability of several key contracts by employing sophisticated data analysis techniques on both the financial and operational data, identifying areas for profit improvement.• Remediated numerous legacy Federal compliance issues, reducing financial risks by $Ms.• Achieved both Federal accounting and modified CAS compliance for the first time in the segment’s history. Wrote and implemented financial and accounting policies to achieve a compliant accounting system.  Created both compliant estimating and contract briefing systems.• Improved the competitiveness of proposals and increased compliance by restructuring the indirect rates • Led financial due diligence for 10+ M&A transactions, resulting in issuance of multiple Letters of Intent.

During this period MCI was focused on emerging from bankruptcy either as a stand-alone telecom company or being acquired by another telecom provider. As such, ensuring compliance with debt covenants was critically important to maintaining liquidity and ongoing operations.

•Provided CFO a weekly company-wide two month rolling P/L and cash forecast to brief the CEO and his team. •Created CFO’s financial status presentations for all Board of Director’s meetings and customer briefings.•Worked with External Reporting group to prepare SEC 10Q and 10K MD&A section and Segmented P&L’s.

As Manager of Systems Engineering Finance I was responsible for financial controllership of the Wireless, EMEA and Asia Pac IT organizations. In this role I provided financial leadership and management reporting to the management team. I worked with operations to identify cost reduction opportunities, one project alone resulted in $5M annual savings. I was responsible for developing cost benefit analysis and financial recommendations for any proposed hardware, software or services acquisitions.

•Coordinated the annual budgeting process for the IT and Engineering Group ($2B expense / $1B of capital), analyzed functional inputs and created consolidated plan presentations for senior management action.•Provided monthly/ quarterly analysis of expense and capital spending including analysis of key drivers, trends and opportunities to senior management.•Analyzed and evaluated capital projects to determine profitability and consistency with the strategic direction.
