Marketing a business is a challenge. You need people that know than just their products, you need people that understand how your business works. Not only do they need to know how to best use Facebook, Google, and Amazon, but MORE importantly, you need them to understand your customer's journey. You need them to understand your operational and logistic pain points. Having a conversation about this should never feel like a sales pitch. Its should be collaborative and a place to brainstorm. It should end with you thinking, "my business is better after this talk" and not "boy, I wonder how much they are going to pitch me". Great sales people today tackle business challenges, not marketing challenges.
