In this role, I support both the development and business design for the enterprise digital strategy at Kaiser Permanente. Specifically working in the function of Digital Strategy & Insights in the KP Digital led by Prat Vemana. I partner with senior leadership (business & clinician) and various digital functional areas to identify the problems to solve, opportunity areas, and future state vision. Anchoring to objectives and key results, I help develop a member-centric strategic narrative to provide focus and direction for product planning and delivery.Recent areas of focus:Digital Mental Health and Wellness care, including Addiction Medicine - Working with members, frontline staff, operations, and care teams, led a team in the development of an approach to re-imagining how Kaiser Permanente will transform our digital support for members with mental health needs. The strategy provides a framework for the organization to identify and focus on high-value opportunities for our members based on levels of severity and personalization. Condition Management Experience - Led a cross-functional team that included care team leadership and operations in codifying an approach to building a consistent "Kaiser Permanente Condition Management Experience" by looking at shared needs across conditions to identify digital opportunities. The goal was to land on frameworks that could be leveraged by product and engineering teams to unpack and explore solutions to empower patients and support care teams in managing end-to-end journeys agnostic of health conditions. As the CDS Lead for the Hawaii region, I supported the implementation and regional operational readiness efforts. Working in concert with the Digital Planning team's strategic and roadmap planning engagement focus with project leads, regional stakeholders and other key members of Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.• Manage and track operational readiness communications.• Identify operations impacts from consumer digital strategy projects• Develop regional portfolios and dashboards to manage project interdependencies, resource alignment, and deployment schedules.• Identify the operational impacts of consumer digital strategy projects and actions needed to optimize deployment and value.• Track actions needed to prepare the business for deployment and adoption of technology.• Identify and escalate resource needs, provide overall project management guidance and escalation path.

In 2009, I began consulting for Buddy's advising them of online opportunities to increase their online presence in 2009. In 2013, I accepted the in-house role of Online Media Director. Initially, I was tasked with converting a brochure site into a lead generating online asset, eventually overseeing all online media strategy, partnerships and development teams. In addition to online marketing, I direct digital asset development for corporate support.Buddy's is now 278 stores across the U.S. and Guam. • Developed B2C online strategy that generates 10k+ unique leads monthly - 100k+ monthly visits.• Designed and spearheaded development of an internal product portal allowing both franchise and corporate stores to order inventory in an e-commerce experience, reducing the use of manual ordering via email or fax. Previously, stores orders using an Excel spreadsheet that was faxed to the purchasing department.• Developed and implemented a company adopted social media credential program designed to activate store employees and develop qualified brand ambassadors for corporate stores.• Launched Buddy's first mobile app creating a new customer touch point to an increasing mobile demographic.

Implementation scope included creative direction of digital assets, video and online marketing that included SEO, SEM, and Social. Clients included:GTE, Buddy’s Home Furnishings and Blasters, Inc.

Senior creative in the development of branding, repositioning, launching and marketing. Spearheaded and won bid for AOR for Wyndham TRYP. Clients included: Wingate by Wyndham, TRYP by Wyndham, Jackson Health System, Larkspur Hotels & Restaurants, Baymont Inn & Suites, and Commerce Bank. Day to day efforts consist of copywriting, art direction and development of marketing strategies.

Teaching was both inspiring and challenging. It is much different than mentoring or managing in the workplace where you have a paycheck as an added motivator. When teaching you learn to find what motivates the student and it was never the same for each. • Taught classes at both the bachelor and graduate level. Classes included basic design fundamentals, multimedia design, and advertising concepts.
