With over 20 years of experience and multiple credentials in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), I am the People, Culture and Inclusion Director at MidAmerican Energy Company, where I create a culture of belonging, respect, and innovation for all employees. I hold a SHRM Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty credential and certificates in DEI from Cornell University and the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.I lead the strategy and execution of impactful DEI programs that enhance employee engagement, promotion, and retention efforts, such as employee focus groups, communication frameworks, and leadership conferences. I also advance leadership accountability and development, and align DEI initiatives with business objectives and social impact. My passion is to empower people to reach their full potential, leverage diversity as a source of strength and opportunity, and build inclusive and ethical workplaces. I am also an active member and leader of several professional and community organizations that promote DEI in the workplace and society.
