During my exciting career, spanning 30 years, I have working in the media. I am passionate about writing and photography. I really enjoy creative writing and write fiction, especially 'flash fiction' and short stories. My writing has been published, and I have won awards in competitions.Throughout my career I have worked for all the national newspapers in the UK and many magazines. For 25 years I photographed professional snooker, and manage the world's most comprehensive snooker library. Through snooker I have worked for many leading companies.I embrace social media and the opportunities it can offer. My aim is to expand my writing and photography.I enjoy bringing a Christian message into my writing and Christian magazines have published my work.Currently I am attempting to walk all the 214 Wainwrights in the Lake District in 2015 to raise fund for Tearfund to help prevent child trafficking. Initially, in 2012, we started catering for private dinner parties, then we expanded into street food around Cumbria and the North of England.In 2020 we invested into our business to provide Thai takeways, focusing on providing authentic, restaurant quality, Thai food for our customers.This aspect of our business has grown exponentially and we are now 80% takeaway with the other 20% continuing with our street food and events.I have brought my 35 years experience working in marketing and the media into the business.
