Engineering Project Coordinator
CurrentCLSG Interconnection Project in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.(1300 kms 225 KV, 12 substations in these four Countries / SCADA system / Rural Electrification/ connection to Hydro power plant / Budget 530 M$).In my position of Engineering Project Coordinator , I have intensively interacted with the national utilities, ministries of energy, regional energy sector institutions and other energy sector stakeholders in the West Africa region. I have also closely and actively worked with the World Bank, AfDB, KfW and EIB teams, which are the financiers of the project.Through this position, I have mastered the art of identifying challenges during projects implementation and how to efficiently deal with different type of project stakeholders including Suppliers, Contractors, Consulting Company, Environmental and Social Safeguard Specialists, and Procurement experts from different backgrounds and cultures. My extensive knowledge of the energy sector in pivotal roles I played as lead projects and engineering coordinator during the implementation of this complex regional energy project are additional strengths that give me the ability to prioritize investment requirements on electrical network and identify key risks for implementation of operational projects, advise clients on the critical steps for implementation and supervision, innovate and propose the right solutions to foster energy access, Renewable Energy integration and development of Electricity Market. The last years, particularly spent on the CLSG Project in close collaboration with the World Bank have also been extremely enriching in terms of my personal development, particularly in relation to professionalism, communication and cooperation. I have successfully obtained a management certificate at HEC Paris and also developed a strong capacity in leadership, which give me the necessary confidence to address all challenges with vision and innovation.
