I directly oversee clinical operations for the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and the Urgent Care Center at Mount Sinai Union Square. My main focus is improving overall health and access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. I have spent most of my medical training and early career working in large, public, safety-net hospitals. I am particularly interested in geriatric care, specifically focusing on improving independent living, enhancing in-home care and expanding social networks for older patients. I also focus much of my efforts on improving care for incarcerated patients, with a focus on improving access to care, resource utilization, and bridging patients to appropriate resources to improve post-incarceration lifestyle and reduce recidivism.
