I have experience as clinical data analyst. Also I have participated in several key aspects of the scientific endeavor, from basic science as a graduate student working to understand the cellular and molecular mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases to assistant in a neuropsychiatric private clinic. Also, I work as a consultant for private groups interested in the biomedical market. Writing is one of my great passions and fortunately, a skill that I have applied not only in academic and technical reports but also I am currently writing for a website managed by the pharmaceutical company Roche, where I write small reviews of scientific articles about cancer, anemia, neurodegenerative diseases and new trends that are of interest for medics and health specialists. My view is that teaching is as important as learning, and I am lucky to teach at the National Polytechnic Institute, one of the most important universities of Mexico, at the Department of Biotechnology and Department of Biomedicine where I have the opportunity to write summaries for students. So, I am properly trained in searching for relevant scientific information and how to explain it in a simple and effective way to different types of audience.
