Currently, I administer a $15MM budget for execution of new packaging concepts inspection, validation and implementation activities for Becton Dickinson syringes in plastic tubes. As the head of engineering and operations I employ marketing data, industry knowledge, and trends to identify key business opportunities. To date, I have:• Successfully led design and implementation efforts for new $15MM syringe packaging line; launched new ready-to-use format of pharmaceutical products.• Ensured final syringe packaging development within two-year timeline for Class II pharmaceutical products registration by determining end-to-end packaging strategy.

Previously, I was the Project Manager and Technical Leader of marketing, information technology, planning, plant operations, R&D, regulatory standards, quality assurance, and quality control groups. I ensured product traceability through the installation of updated serialization equipment in case packer and palletizers. I highlighted and resolved equipment issues, developed visual controls and framework structure, and promoted strict production schedule adherence. I slashed product equipment footprint; boosted accountability and efficiency by utilizing holographic tamper-evident label materials. Finally, I promoted production and supply chain infrastructure initiatives by creating and presenting cases to Executive Board. I'm particularly proud that I:• Produced an output of 900K units per day by leading facility infrastructure maintenance activities for 7 sterile filling and 10 packaging lines.• Grew injectable product packaging output from 550K to 1MM units per day by directing a 120-member staff of group leaders, operators and supervisors operating three shifts on a 6-day-a-week schedule.• Enhanced pharmaceutical package storage by selecting syringe flow-wrap equipment and material. Facilitated product tracking by supervising RFID tag design and installation for unit dose vial labels.

2015DESCRIPTIONIn this capacity, I directed a 62-member maintenance department team including electricians, facility maintenance, machine mechanics and supervisors across three shifts. I oversaw the repair and upkeep of WFI, HVAC and EMS infrastructure as well as aseptic fillers, autoclaves, cappers, sterilization tunnels, vision systems and washer maintenance. I also converted components and labeling for multi-dose vials. Finally, I installed new filling lines including ampule, cappers, sterilization tunnels, vial fillers and external washers. Of my many contributions in this role, I:• Boosted line efficiencies, grew manufacturing output and assured flexibility in product configuration packaging by implementing sterile filing and capital equipment projects.• Established and cemented strong relationship among production leadership teams to properly assess and diagnose current production equipment conditions.• Identified and executed a 20% annual cost savings by reducing false rejection on viscous products.
