Provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications. Includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, translation into proper system requirement specifications and configuration. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements. Operates as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department. • Manage servers including Print Server, Storage Area Network (SAN), Back-up Server, File Server Cluster and their associated operating systems. • Provide system testing, support, IOS upgrade, and hardware maintenance of Cisco Routers, Catalyst switch and ASA Firewall. • Manage over 188 standalone servers to ensure all information assurance controls are implemented.• Manage multiple firewalls Cisco ASA & Juniper SSG, to include routing, firewall access rules, B2B connectivity configuration.• Perform patch management and other system upgrades during non-peak hours to ensure business operations are not negatively impacted.• Perform Patch Management using the DISA approved Secure Compliance Remediation Initiative tool to ensure all identified vulnerabilities are remediated.• Document and maintain network/server hardware and configurations.
