In addition to performing the duties listed below for DISA Mr. Knowles was promoted to Director national security programs for WSP. In this role he oversaw WSP contracts with 5 separate USG Intelligence Community Agencies.Provided engineering, maintenance and construction management support to the government facility staff for DISA Headquarters, a site composed of five 6 and 7 story buildings located at Ft Meade, Md.- Full gamut of construction project controls: report drafting and production (MS Office Suite), cost management, schedule management, change order management, submittal management, le, cost, and contract compliance.- Perform weekly and monthly QA oversight of the Base Operations Services Contractor using Maximo CMMS system. Develop engineering solutions for day-to-day facility maintenance and construction issues. Also perform QA oversight of ongoing construction projects at DISA HQ.- Provide project management oversight of the work of the DISA Facility project office in planning, coordinating, evaluating, and scheduling to ensure that the construction contractor meets DISA required standards of quality, schedule, and cost compliance.- Develop Statements of work, technical specifications and perform quantity takeoff for independent government cost estimates for DISA facility construction projects.- Part of Base Operations SOW development team for BOS contract renewal effort.- Perform studies of different Facility infrastructure issues, such as Indoor Air Quality, Overall Central Utility Plant operation, separate Boiler, Chiller and Cooling Tower operation. Studies provided repair options and costs estimates for future funding needs.- Perform Facility assessments of different DISA facilities in the US.- Perform QA of BAS Operation. Login into system on a weekly basis to review its operation and submit work orders on data discrepancies.
