  As a fleet supervisor for the Newport Mesa Unified School District, I oversee operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory processes and procedures to maintain safe working environment for a school district with over 250 pieces of equipment. In this position, I assign equipment and drivers, monitoring progress, resolving issues and concerns, and communicating schedules. Here, I partner with the maintenance department to resolve problems with equipment and communicate with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and concerns. Additionally, I produce service and inspection schedules to maintain compliance with DOT and CARB regulations, developing comprehensive reports and analyzing data to produce cost savings plans and optimize available resources.Implemented Fleet Management Information and Fuel Management systems. Successfully secured CARB grant funding for new alternative fueled school buses since 2010.
