Procurement Agent
Manages priorities for high-level government repair purchase orders and contract changes.Coordinates with suppliers to guarantee that POs are fulfilled, closed, and received.Modifies schedule changes with procurement agents for contractual changes to POs.Conducts final examinations and assessments of RFP/RFQs, source selection decisions, price analyses, government documentation, and other purchasing documentation.Updates procurement system with accurate supplier inputs and current status.Works with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve PO constraints.Handles expedited requests that are based on program needs.Assists with the development and deployment of internal/external process improvements, organizational initiatives, and projects/procurement activities.Manages opportunities and risks by communicating across functions, programs, and suppliers.Supports teammates to process high volumes of POs and PCCs with suppliers.Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.Partners with Program and Engineering providing best sourcing solutions and initiates engineering investigations on repairs with trends of repetitive failure.Assisted in a 3-week project to transfer 1,600 PRs to POs.Developed a 3-month recovery plan to help alleviate supplier constraints and return 1,200 parts to inventory
