Lead, managed and executed the Systems Integration for the acquisition of American Medical Systems Company (AMS) to Boston Scientific California (Urology division – Prostate Health business), with annual sales of $200 million. Managed a $5 million budget for the Integration Program, facilitating the business transformation of AMS to align with Boston Scientific's processes, operating standards, and global information systems. Effectively guided a core team of 15 members and led coordinated efforts with an additional 45 cross-functional team across the organization, including members from Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Materials, R&D, Regulatory, Logistics and sales & distribution.

Senior Program Manager responsible for the implementation of MES 4.5 (Manufacturing Execution Systems) for Boston Scientific at the Heredia´s and Coyol´s manufacturing plants, managing an initial capital budget of $1.5 million for core Infrastructure, and an OPEX budget of $5 million for the 3-year Program. Led a team of 14 professionals, providing strong leadership to ensure system-level technical compliance. Fostered collaboration among functional managers and core teams in Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality in order to improve the understanding of business processes, necessary controls, and quality requirements. This resulted in modeling business workflows into the MES, automating process controls, and enhancing manufacturing operations, leading to a 70% reduction in quality issues and a 90% decrease in paper documentation.• Implementation of a 100% of the Product families and production lines in MES for both Manufacturing plants by Q4 2016. • 1300 MES workstations deployed. • 2000 Product builders trained and using the system for manufacturing. • 50 Production lines efficiently converted to MES eDHR (Electronic Device History Record).• 2 Subassemblies clean rooms converted to MES eDHR.

Led a team of 20 IT professionals, including network, support, and software engineers, overseeing IT Operations (Infrastructure, software development, and End User services).Key member of Boston Scientific’s startup in Costa Rica (Heredia) in 2004; responsible for collaborating with global IT teams on the design, architecture, and implementation of the entire IT platform from the ground up. Timely provision of all required IT services (networking, printing, end-user support, plant hardware, connectivity, etc.) facilitated an effective business startup process, supporting the plant's growth to a peak of 1,200 employees by 2006.Managed the IT architecture, design, and construction for the startup of Boston Scientific’s second manufacturing plant in Coyol (402K square feet) during 2008-2009. This included the design and construction of a new Tier 3 data center (1.5K square feet) to oversee IT operations for both manufacturing sites (Heredia and Coyol), implementing a failover strategy that enhanced business uptime and continuity.Successfully ensured IT support and readiness for diverse product transfers from various U.S. locations to Costa Rica, including the operational transfer from the manufacturing plant in Heredia to Coyol in 2008-2009, the complete transfer of the Miami manufacturing plant to Costa Rica during 2010-2011, and a product transfer from California to Costa Rica in 2013.Managed an operating annual budget of $3.7 million for OPEX and $1 million for capital investments in innovation and technological renovation.Start-up of the first Boston Scientific’s manufacturing plant (103K square feet) in Costa Rica in 2004. All IT services and Infrastructure implemented on time for the first production lot. Construction and start-up of the second Boston Scientific’s manufacturing plant (402K square feet) in Costa Rica in 2008-2009, with a new Tier 3 data center.
