Erick Sáenz is an educator & writer from Los Angeles, living in San Francisco. Since earning his teaching credential in 2009, he has worked as a teacher / instructor in Adult Ed, Independent Studies, HS Diploma, after-school programs, and private school. After 5 years of teaching English between (3) different Fusion Academy campuses, he is currently Assistant Director at Fusion Marin. In addition to being an educator, Erick is a published poet! His first book, “Susurros A Mi Padre,” was published by The Operating System in 2018. He self-published “Lucid Traversal,” a collection of poems written during shelter-in-place, in Spring 2021. Little Skull Press published his first collection of fiction; “This Is My Exit: Stories” in Fall of 2021. He has also self-publishing several chapbooks & zines in the tradition of DIY.
