Nonprofit Consultant, Life and Executive Coach, Healer:After graduating with a Masters in Teaching from The Evergreen State College and living in Germany on a teaching Fulbright, I began working to end the HIV epidemic. For over two decades, this led me to many different corners of volunteer, nonprofit and government settings: as a participant in HIV vaccine and prevention research studies, a leader of various research community advisory boards, a graduate of several leadership institutes, an outreach worker, a technical assistance and training provider, a grant writer and reviewer, a conference planner, and more. I served as the Executive Director of PCAF (Pierce County AIDS Foundation), chaired the Pierce County Human Services Coalition, and served as the President of the Board and later as the Interim Executive Director of the Nonprofit Association of Washington.During this time, I have also been nunning through the nonprofit space as a member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, raising thousands of dollars and spreading love, joy, and smiles. I also attended the School of Traditional Magic in Seattle (aka Witch School) with a focus on intuitive and spiritual development through European earth-based traditions, foundations of traditional magic, and ceremony. What I learned from these experiences built a foundation of love, compassion, and justice into my leadership, and I believe that the most radical and revolutionary act is learning to deeply love our queer selves and communities.My current focus is on helping individuals and nonprofits navigate transitions through The Liminal Mirror, my coaching and consulting practice, and my work with The Third Sector Company.
