Lead a team of 8 Engineers and 1 UI/UX designer who are based in China. Acting as both full-stack engineer and engineering manager. Responsible for planning, developing, releasing, and maintaining of company’s technology products. o customer-facing iOS and android frontend application; o restaurants, driver facing frontend business portal; o core backend services that are responsible for data presentation, transactions processing, route scheduling, business-facing content management APIs, etc. Planned and migrated all of the parent backend and frontend services to the newly started tech stack in 3 weeks. Tech stack included: AWS S3, AWS Route 53, AWS ECS, AWS code pipeline, AWS EC2, AWS SQS, AWS SSM, MongoDB, elasticsearch+kibana, Twilio, Firebase, Sentry, Onesignal, etc Lead the revamping of the company’s mobile applications. Set guidelines to lower communication costs built from multi-timezone(EU, US, China) and multi-department by using dedicated slack channels and knowledge-sharing platforms like Confluence, using ticket tracking platforms like Jira.
