Performed computerized material and labor takeoffs of paint and wallcovering estimates using the OST (On Screen Takeoff) program and then managed the projects I secured. Generated Work Orders, Change Orders and Invoices using Foundation. Communicated with the Site Superintendents and Project Managers of the General Contractor to make certain my painters were completing the scope of work within time and budgetary constraints.Key Accomplishments2016 – Estimated/bid on approximately 60 paint/wallcovering projects; secured contracts for 7 paint/wallcovering projects and managed 6 of them to completion (Bid/Hit Ratio of 9:1).

Specific responsibilities included liaising with the Store Manager, General Contractor and Project Manager of Merchandising (PMM) to accomplish the SOW in a manner that mitigated any negative impact to store sales; assisted the General Contractor and subcontractors in interpreting and defining specific elements of the SOW and Sears specifications; led the project kick-off and daily ‘ready meetings’; assisted with the compilation of the material and fixture take-off; collaborated with the PMM to develop the project workflow.
