Deliver mass leadership skills development to finance employees as well as focus on the identification and development of training programs and resources that support the growth and development of Finance employees. Within our Finance organization, I am largely responsible for the sustainment of the technical, leadership and core skills, standardized process training programs, the coordination and delivery of training; and the development of capabilities to track the impact of training and to sustain delivery.

Responsibilities included reviewing final working papers and audit reports for executive management’s assessment in the post Sarbanes-Oxley environment; training, leading and directing teams of auditors to determine the reasonableness of the company’s financial statements, assessing the adequacy of the internal control environment, and identifying earnings improvements and best practices for the manufacturing operating units (utilization various software tools such as Excel and SAP). In addition, I was responsible for managing operational and consulting projects based on business units’ requests. I was responsible for development/revision of our audit programs, continuously led the internal department’s training efforts and conducted training for new employees on auditing concepts, techniques, behavioral skills, and compilation of financial/operational data for analysis. Positions Held: Started as Senior Auditor in February 2001, Senior Auditor-In-Charge (2004), Audit Manager (2005), and Senior Audit Manager (2006-2012).

Responsibilities include class instruction (both on campus and in the university’s online environment) on business related topics, specifically Accounting, Business Ethics and Organizational Behavior as well as incorporating current practices. I am also responsible for assessing student knowledge through the use of classroom examinations, presentations, homework assignments, and class discussions. The university operates on the quarter system whereby each class lasts approximately 11-12 weeks.

Responsibilities included conducting internal audits of quality processes and systems including ISO, overseeing the function of assessing donor records for compliance, reviewing records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures and regulations, reconciliation of daily audit totals to compile a monthly statistical report, and providing assistance to the Director of Quality Assurance.
