Prepare annual program budgets for presentation to Board of Directors for approval. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, as well as any other internal or external financial documents required for the management of the program. Monitor the financial performance against applicable budgets and recommends any necessary corrective action. Maintain General Ledger chart of accounts in accordance with GAAP. Review all program insurance requirements on a periodic basis and recommends any necessary changes. Perform grant-related award functions, including budget and expense analysis, monthly and quarterly invoicing, financial reporting, labor distribution/staff time allocation changes, reconciliations, re-budgeting, and grant closeout functions. Allocate entity wide expenses across departments/projects using Cost Accounting. Maintain the internal Accounting Manual. Review monthly accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices and provide account codes, when appropriate, for proper grant accounting. Produce budget and expense analysis reports. Work with program directors on budgets and budget revisions for grants, projects, substantive units, and the organization. Communicate monthly financial results with the appropriate program staff, informing them of the agency’s current financial position with respects to their projects. Provide all required information and follow-up actions for annual audit conducted by outside CPA Firm. Review and approve payroll reports prior to submission to third party payroll servicer. Coordinate the monthly review and reconciliation of cash accounts. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis. Oversee procurement activity of the agency, assuring that all ethical standards are met. Serve as the agency’s financial point of contact, including supporting required audits.

 Assists in the preparation, reconciliation and maintenance of financial statements including general ledger, revenue and expense reports and balance sheet. Assists in developing and preparing accruals, recurring and adjusting journal entries. Assists in preparing and maintaining required governmental fiscal reports and insurance reports. Also assists in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and forms including Form 941, UCT-6, W-2/summary. Reconcile bank statements  Reconcile all balance sheet accounts Assists with developing and preparing financial analysis, year-end and audit work papers. Help to identify, analyze and solve required changes and problems in fiscal processes. Assist in preparing employee insurance data, applicable reports and Form 5500. Prepare and assist with agency, contract and grant audits. Assists Chief Financial Officer in creating yearly budgets and financial analysis. Completes special projects and performs other related duties as assigned Coordinates and allocates yearly budget amounts with funders i.e.: Juvenile Welfare Board
