Earned Master's in Social Work degree from Temple University May 2019, concentrating in Macro Practice with Organizations, Communities, and Policy Arenas and specializing in Children and Families. Earned License in Social Work December 2022. The disciplines of social work and education have always been a passion of mine. While pursuing my MSW, I recognized that there was a need for change agents in both fields for students in urban and low-income populations to have equitable education and resources available to them. This led me to my current position in Program Coordinating at GEAR UP, a federal College and Career Readiness Program. Experienced case manager and mentor, assessing client and family needs as it relates to the safety, well-being, and permanency of children. Great understanding of child welfare practices, laws, and techniques as demonstrated through my experience as a CUA Case Manager. Lifetime learner open to new opportunities and challenges.
